UWA (UHD World Association) appeared under the theme "Boundless Vivid · Collective Intelligence," presenting its Audio Vivid / HDR Vivid technology system and broader UHD ecosystem, while deepening ties with global standards bodies and partners to bring Chinese UHD technology onto the world stage.

A Full Picture of the Vivid Ecosystem

The booth was organized around four pillars — Content, Technology, Standards, and Ecosystem. Technology highlights included Audio Vivid, HDR Vivid, Spatial Vivid, and Cinema Vivid, plus frontier spatial-media tech like 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS). On standards, UWA continues aligning Vivid technology with international frameworks across production, encoding, transmission, and display. Applications on display spanned mobile, smart cabins, home entertainment, cinema, broadcast, tourism, and healthcare.

Expanding the International Circle

UWA engaged with SMPTE, EBU, and DVB on standards coordination, and with the Colorist Society International (CSI), Alliance for Open Media (AOMedia), and Professional Video Alliance (PVA) on global collaboration. Talks with companies including Avid, Mimic Productions, Vivid Manta, audioXpress, TURKSAT, Appning, Greening of Streaming, Astro, Bridge Technologies, SET, and Spin Digital explored compatibility and joint projects, with some expressing interest in joining the UWA ecosystem directly.

• BOSMA debuted its VEGA H2 6K full-frame camera in Europe, with native HVS switching, ToF autofocus, and a built-in electronic ND filter.
• Jupiter SR showed 65" and 43" spatial reality/light-field displays using AI-based 2D-to-3D conversion.
• NDT presented UHD broadcast infrastructure, sports-event broadcast solutions, and an AI-powered lightweight livestream system usable with just a phone and tablet.
• UHD Audio & Visual Jing’an · π Space, a leading hub for immersive UHD innovation in Shanghai, showcased its approach to content creation and incubation.

Advancing Vivid's Global Integration

As UHD moves beyond resolution into HDR, immersive audio, spatial media, and AI-driven production, UWA continues advancing Audio Vivid, HDR Vivid, and Spatial Vivid internationally through standards collaboration, joint testing, and partnerships — shifting from "technology showcasing" toward jointly building standards and ecosystems. UWA also hosted a Networking Reception, "A Vivid Glimpse Beyond Limits with UWA," bringing together members and partners worldwide.

IBC2026 marked another milestone in UWA's international journey. UWA will keep deepening international partnerships, helping members reach international markets, and connecting UHD practices globally.
