Changhong × HiSilicon Joint R&D — A Theater-Grade Wall TV Experience Setting a New Industry Benchmark

For years, wall-mounted TVs have chased "thinner" designs, often at the cost of picture and sound quality. The newly launched Changhong Wall TV D7S (65"/75"/85") shows that it no longer has to be a trade-off — combining a true six-sided full-flat design with dual HDR Vivid and Audio Vivid certification, developed in close technical partnership with UWA.
Six-Sided Full Flatness: Unlike most wall TVs that only flatten the front panel, the D7S achieves a genuine six-sided flat form at just 3.9mm thick, using concealed magnetic mounts, an 8mm ultra-thin bracket, third-generation gallium nitride (GaN) power supply, and detachable cable management — eliminating the usual bulky "hump" and exposed wiring.
Vivid Certification: HDR Vivid uses frame-by-frame dynamic metadata to deliver more accurate contrast and color in dark and bright scenes, with MiniLED zone control and 98% DCI-P3 color coverage. Audio Vivid delivers immersive 4.1.2-channel spatial sound across seven independent sound units, up to 105W output, with rich, structured, high/mid-frequency clarity.
Changhong × HiSilicon: Loon Sound Effect 2.0 — Changhong and HiSilicon jointly developed this audio system to solve the weak-bass problem common to ultra-thin TVs, using separated sub-bass modules paired with the Hi-Wave acoustic mesh, AI voice interaction, and surround-speaker connectivity for a fuller, more coherent sound field.
Real-World Performance: Skin tones render naturally under HDR Vivid, and 4.1.2 spatial audio tracks footsteps and ambient sound with precise directionality — delivering true home-theater immersion without extra hardware.
As the wall-TV category shifts focus from "who's thinner" to "who's more complete," the D7S — through Changhong and HiSilicon's collaboration and UWA's Vivid standards — shows that ultra-thin design and premium audiovisual quality can coexist, setting a strong reference point for the industry.
